- Accumulator
- A parlay bet that combines multiple selections into one wager, with winnings rolled over.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread betting system that eliminates the draw outcome and uses quarter-goal increments.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for betting.
- Betting Exchange
- A platform where bettors can back and lay outcomes, acting as a marketplace.
- Both Teams To Score
- A market where you bet on whether each side will score at least one goal.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle a bet before the event concludes, locking in a profit or loss.
- Clean Sheet
- A bet on a team not conceding any goals during a match.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes of a match.
- Edge
- An advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker's odds.
- Futures
- Bets placed on outcomes that will be decided over the course of a tournament, such as the winner.
- Juice
- The commission a sportsbook charges on a bet, often built into the odds.
- Line
- The set of odds or point spread offered for a particular event.
- Market
- A category of bets available for a specific event, such as match result or total goals.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win a match, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds
- The numerical expression of the likelihood of an outcome, indicating how much you can win relative to your stake.
- Outright
- A bet on a team or player to win a competition or award.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be higher or lower than a set line.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Point Spread
- A handicap given to a team to level the playing field, used to bet on the margin of victory.
- Prop Bet
- A bet on a specific occurrence within a match that does not affect the final result.
- ROI
- Return on Investment; the net profit or loss from betting relative to the total amount wagered.
- Single Bet
- A straightforward bet on a single outcome, as opposed to multiple selections.
- Stake
- The amount of money you place on a bet.
- Unit
- A standardized measurement of the size of a bet, usually a percentage of your bankroll.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome.
